AmeriCorps Cultural Technology Program members work to improve their communities through the use of advanced multimedia technologies in museums and cultural organizations. There is an increasing demand for cultural organizations to provide online access to collections, exhibits, services and information. The AmeriCorps Cultural Technology Program meets the needs of the community through providing trained members to New Mexico institutions helping them advance technology and access to their local communities. ACT members came up with the mission of the program, "Enriching Communities through technology, one museum at a time."
