In celebration of next week's AmeriCorps Week, AmeriCorps Alums is launching #MadeInAmeriCorps: a campaign to lift up the experiences, leadership and careers that were cultivated during a powerful experience in national service. As part of our AmeriCorps Week programming, we see an opportunity to (re)introduce state service commissions and CNCS state offices to the national alumni network – AmeriCorps Alums – as a partner and resource, with our shared goal of supporting members' "Life After AmeriCorps."

In the last year we've significantly increased our content and offering around professional development, and with recent cuts to available training dollars, AmeriCorps Alums believes we have an important role to play in supporting the "Life After AmeriCorps" of every member/alumni. During AmeriCorps Week from March 11-15, 2013, AmeriCorps Alums will be conducting a Life After AmeriCorps training designed for current AmeriCorps members. We will be hosting one webinar per CNCS region (Monday, Atlantic; Tuesday, Southern; Wednesday, North Central; Thursday, Pacific; and Friday, Southwest). The webinars will be an introduction to the AmeriCorps Alums network, share valuable information about how members can stay connected through their local chapters, and outline resources and member benefits available through the AmeriCorps Alums community.

This is in addition to our Monthly Career Webinar, on Thursday of AmeriCorps Week, which is focused on helping alumni highlight their AmeriCorps experiences on their resumes.
